The Meandros Talks Fundraiser, took place on Sunday, October 20, 2019,
\nat the Palace Convention Centre, 1717 Blvd du Corbusier, Laval, QC H7S
\n2K7. Dr. Pedro Rosa-Neto, MD, PhD gave a lecture entitled \u201cTargeting
\nAlzheimer\u2019s Disease and Dementia.\u201d Topics of lecture included: What
\ncauses Alzheimer\u2019s Disease and Dementia? Are there any new therapeutic
\nstrategies? Can the disease be prevented or detected earlier? What are the
\nrecent research developments?<\/p>\n

\u201cAssociazione Spignese di Montreal held their 2nd<\/sup> Annual Alzheimer\u2019s Fundraiser on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at The Ritz Reception Hall, Montreal, donating all profits to the McGill University Research Centre for Studies in Aging. Over 230 guests attended the fundraiser. Dr. Pedro Rosa-Neto, MD, PhD, Director of MCSA and Dr. Paolo Vitali, MD, PhD, FRCPC were the guest speakers at the gala evening. On behalf of MCSA, we would like to thank the Committee Members and the President of the Association Spignese di Montreal for organizing this event. We are humbled by the generosity of the Association and we would like to extend our deepest gratitude.\u201d<\/p>\n
